Easy vegan falafel patties

We love experimenting vegan cuisine but this quick and simple chickpea based dish really is a winner. Made in five minutes they off a great alternative to shop bought vegan products.

Easy vegan falafel burger recipe


One 400g tin chick peas

One clove of garlic

3 tbsp chickpea flower

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp cumin

1 whole onion finely diced

One tbsp fresh chopped chive

One tsp fresh sage


  1. Simply tip the ingredients into the food processor and blitz- slowly add the flour until a dough like consistency is achieved.
  2. Mold the falafel into small party shapes
  3. Shallow fry on each side til the outside of each patty is crispy and drain on olive oil
  4. Finally serve- we recommend with our raw slaw and some sweet potato fries
